Elrosa is a small city located in Stearns County, Minnesota, United States. As of the 2010 census, the population of Elrosa was 211. The city is surrounded by farmland and is located about 30 miles west of St. Cloud, Minnesota. Elrosa is known for its strong community spirit and active volunteerism. Some notable attractions in the area include the Stearns County Fairgrounds, the Lake Koronis recreational area, and the nearby city of Sauk Centre, which is home to the Sinclair Lewis Interpretive Center and the Palmer House Hotel, which is reputed to be haunted. The city is serviced by the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Public School District.
